Belhavre is a small Acadian town of 5,000 people tucked between the sea and the forest, somewhere on the east coast of Canada. You can hear the wind coming up from the harbour at first light, the echo of the gulls above the fishing boats, and the dull knock of the logs the forestry co-operative has been hauling out of the woods since the turn of the last century. There is also a town hall with a modest steeple, a chamber of commerce that brings together the business owners of the region, a physiotherapy clinic that tends to the tired hands of the people of the sea, a law firm that takes in the family and commercial files of the county, two restaurants known throughout the region, a comic book shop kept alive by a community of enthusiasts, and many other places that carry the daily life of the town.

But Belhavre exists on no map. We drew it after imagining its harbour and its hills, naming its streets, inventing its businesses and its residents. Then, for every player in this town, we designed a complete digital platform, at once a showcase and an everyday tool. A site for the town hall that runs its services to residents, another for the fishers co-operative that exports around the world, a third for the clinic that manages its appointments, and so on for every business in the area. Every site is thought through as a complete project, never as a simple mockup: its architecture, its content, and above all its business tools, so that it becomes a true working companion. We are building this universe piece by piece, and it opens as it moves forward.

We built Belhavre for a precise reason. We wanted to show, without stopping at isolated screenshots, what happens when a workshop takes on a whole economic fabric. A town is more than a stack of independent sites, it is a network of entities that talk to each other, that share data and that lean on one another. The chamber of commerce makes the restaurants known, the town hall lists the active businesses, the fishers co-operative supplies the seaside kitchens. Belhavre is our answer to that reality. An ecosystem that gives you value and works for you and with you rather than a catalogue frozen in place, technology in the service of people: that is what we believe in and what we build in our workshop.
